This monument was onn the highest point on the Obersalzberg, the Adolf Hitler Höhe. Later called the Göringhügel.
Hermann Göring build his hous on this spot, the Eckerbichl. The hill has to this day the name "Göring-Hügel".
Now, the Continentalhotel is on that spot, as you can see below, the monument would be right in the middle of the Continental.
